- i ♥ sunny days and warm weather. i am a wife, daughter, sister, mama, and registered nurse with a husband, two wonderful labradors, a precious baby girl, and beautiful family and friends. i love to knit and make things when i can find the time, which is what inspired the name of this blog. Now it feels like our family- we knit 3 people into 1 sweet family.
Us
Jay and I met in January 2004 and were married September 9, 2006. We moved to NC in May 2007. We are enjoying life's journey and where it has taken us so far.
Mary Isabelle
Mary was born June 26, 2012 @ 4:23pm. She is a sweet baby and we can't wait to see who she becomes.
Our Labradors
Cotton is our 7 year old yellow lab. She is a great dog who is way too smart for her own good. Barley is our 6 year old chocolate lab. She is sweetly submissive and smarter than she looks (and acts). We love our girls!

Poor Squirrel Nutkin. He looks like he's got a wicked head rush right now. I think we have that same squirrel at home but his little hands have been gnawed down to nubbins.
